fit to be tied… turban style

DSC_0203banner

Dying to try the new turban style, but don’t want to shell out the dough (or dig out the sewing machine) for a fancy one? Use this handy DIY turban guide and get the same look for less! I used a fabric tie belt, but you can use any sort of scarf or long scrap of fabric. It’s as easy as 1,2,3!

1. Place the center of the tie across the base of your head in back:

2. Wrap the tie around itself one time:

3. Tie the loose ends in a knot in back! (I’ve also cut off the loose ends and attached snaps to the ends before. Works like a dream!)

VOILA! A chic turban look for zero pennies.

You’re welcome.

I was trying to figure out how to tie a scarf this way the other day... It's so obvious once someone just tells you how! Thanks!
